Have fun learning to make either a 25cm or 30cm lampshade or ceiling pendant. Learn the tricks and tips of the trade from Angela who has years of experience.

All materials and tools will be provided including a good selection of fabrics to choose from.

Suitable for beginners.

Tea/coffee and of course delicious cake will also be included.

In a beautiful setting at the National Trust for Scotland’s Priorwood Gardens “The Makery” in Melrose in the Scottish Borders.

Workshop is limited to maximum of 6 people to allow for more intimate teaching.

All tables and equipment will be sanitised before and after each workshop providing you with a safe space to learn.

Please specify whether you would prefer to make a 25cm or 30cm shade on the day to enable us to prepare in advance.

You can also bring your own fabric (cotton or linen only) should you wish.

The workshop finishes at 5 pm but don’t worry if we aren’t finished the workshop can run on until everybody has a completed shade to go home with!
