Created in 2008 by Angela Clay-Parker from her dining room table after her youngest started full time school in the heart of the countryside in North Northumberland.  After making several items and literally getting the sewing bug and realising what she was doing wasn't half bad with lots of encouragement from friends, family and huge interest and oooo's and rrrrrrr's at craft fairs she quickly upgraded to the spare bedroom making it into a workroom and started attending local Farmers Markets along with developing her website.

Again Ticketty Boo very quickly outgrew the spare room and on chancing upon an opportunity of taking over a workshop at one of her favourite places, The Hirsel at Coldstream in the Scottish Borders, she took the plunge and opened up her own workshop!   Who says dreams dont come true!  Eight years later at The Hirsel and still loving every minute of it the family have even relocated to the Scottish Borders to be nearer the workshop!

The business has now developed from a little cottage industry from her spare bedroom to a wonderful exciting business with its own shop, website and features in national magazines but still with a humble heart with focus on individuality, quality and excellent customer service.

Ticketty Boo designs are made from the best quality linens and cottons and cover a wide range of home accessory products which are not only beautiful to look at but are practical too!   Ticketty Boo concentrates on beautiful applique work handstitched and hand embroidery using a gorgeous mix of colours and fabrics - anything with a dot, stripe, check or flower and you will find it here!

Ticketty Boo also sells a gorgeous collection of fabrics, ribbons, buttons, etc and also stocks East of India and Garden Trading products.

In the last few years Ticketty Boo has expanded her workshop to include the Dovecote nextdoor from where I can sell my upcycled vintage furniture, turning old unwanted solid pieces of furniture into modern desirable items giving them a new lease of life and hopefully a new home!

Ticketty Boo also makes bespoke lamps and lampshades and also sells lampshade making kits for those wanting to have a go themselves.

New for 2017 Ticketty Boo now handbounds journals and books using lovely papers all sewn together with exposed decorative stiching along the spines.  Also new are Ticketty Boo's new wooden driftwood houses sourced from many hours of beachcombing and woodland walks collecting bits of wood, bark and rusty old nails to create fab little mixed media village scenes.

You can follow Ticketty Boo through Facebook and Twitter where you will receive a warm welcome and where you can find out all the lastest things happening to Ticketty Boo - just click on the buttons at the bottom of the page.
